Charles Morris is a dedicated and hard working programmer with over two decades of experience in Windows, Mac OS, and Unix platforms developing software applications utilizing C++, Visual Basic, C#, Java, Cold-Fusion, PHP, HTML, Flex, VBA, MS-SQL, MySQL and others. Charles is credited with finding creative solutions to problems that often seem unsolvable.

Charles is vastly knowledgeable in 3D virtual world technology with over five years of experience working within the 3D platform of Second Life and two years experience in OpenSim. Charles has provided LSL scripting and programming experience on numerous projects primarily in the fields of educational and accessibility.

Charles Morris is the lead developer for Virtual Helping Hands and its various projects. As lead developer for Virtual Helping Hands, Charles is responsible for all phases of development for 3D platform accessibility tools: Max the Virtual Guidedog, Max Voice Plus, The SecondAbility Call System, and MaxMic a Voice Synthesis tool for VoIP.

Charles has applied the knowledge leaned in developing accessibility tools to developing accessible educational tools for the 3D Virtual Learning Environment Project which includes an accessible 3D viewer called AccessGlobe and a Web 2.0 interface for accessible virtual world presentations.

Charles is a founding member for Virtual Helping Hands a 501c3 organization and serves as Vice-President on the Board of Directors.  Charles has delivered numerous presentations on the topic of accessibility in virtual worlds.
